    Percussion Bells

Percussion bells make beautiful ensemble instruments, and they're not just for Christmas music either! Bells make music that we all respond to. The bell tower playing your alma mater`s fight song at homecoming or the church bells on Easter morning. Bells are everywhere.

Bells are part of the Idiophones family of percussion instruments, which means that the music produced is made through the vibration of the whole instrument. Handbells and chimes are just a few.

A few famous bells are of course Philadelphia`s Liberty Bell, The World Peace Bell in Kentucky and the bells of Notre Dame. If you're thinking about buying bells, though, I'd go smaller, maybe some nice brass handbells instead.

Handbells and handbell choirs are usually in groups of ten bell ringers. Look for brass and leather English handbells for sale on eBay. You'll find the best prices on new and used percussion bells at a discount. Guitar Secrets can be found here
